Welcome to the Designer By Your Side service, one of our most well-loved concierge design services!
How does it work?
We begin with a 60 minute onsite design consultation to evaluate your existing home and to appropriately guide you in the best service(s) for your needs (local clients only). For our non-local clients, this is your 45minute Virtual Onboarding Meeting. We have found local and non-local clients alike love this service!
How do I know if this service will work for me?
This service is ideal for the client who loves to provide photos and measurements to us, enjoy the DIY or slow-decorating process and oversee projects for themselves, while having designer oversight for professional advice and direction. Please be sure to request specific items to the design team to ensure we source all items you’re looking for to complete your space(s). This service is ideal for selecting those finishing touches like lighting, accessories, plumbing, soft finishes & more.
How much should I plan to invest in for this concierge service?
All Designer By Your Side clients must start with a minimum of ten hours of concierge time
Initial investment minimum $1750.
Once we have established the missing pieces to your space(s), we will embark on either sourcing the items for you or be available through our concierge designer by your side service to advise you as your source items yourself, but typically our clients enjoy shopping so it’s a mix of both! This includes working with us via text, email and video calls for any questions you may have as you embark on the ‘thrill of the hunt’!
Where do you or I shop for items you select?
Retail-ready items will be the focus of this service, however if you would like to have designer fabrics or wallpapers, we do allow you to purchase those through us. Otherwise, we have a handful of retail-ready and semi-custom vendors that we source items from so that you can purchase on your own.
How is my purchased time tracked?
Concierge hours are tracked in 5 minute increments using Clockify, a project management tool. Hours expire within 90 days of purchase date. Once you reach 2 hours remaining in your initial payment of 10hours, the design team will reach out to you to inquire about remaining work to be completed with our estimate of hours to complete said work, and you are given the option to purchase additional hours at this time. If you prefer to finish up the initial 10 hours and complete the rest on your own, we hope you feel empowered to do so after working together for 10 hours!
